Join Our Team at The Vault - Bar & Restaurant Manager The Vault is looking for a dependable, energetic, and organized Bar & Restaurant Manager to help oversee the day-to-day operation of our full-service bar and casual restaurant. We are a small-town establishment offering drinks, pizza, appetizers, soups, gaming/slots, and entertainment including live music, trivia, bingo, and other special events. We are looking for someone who enjoys being hands-on, working with customers and employees, and taking ownership of making sure the business runs smoothly. This is not strictly a desk-management position. The right person will be comfortable working alongside the team, bartending and serving when needed, while also managing employees and daily operations. What We Offer A fun, casual, small-town work environment A hands-on management role with the ability to make a real impact Flexible scheduling A mix of regular business, special events, live entertainment, trivia, bingo, and gaming Competitive pay based on experience Opportunities for additional hours during busy events and special occasions Position Responsibilities As Bar & Restaurant Manager, you will help oversee the overall operation of The Vault, including: Supervising and supporting bartenders and other staff Helping create and maintain employee schedules Ensuring shifts are properly staffed and finding coverage when necessary Bartending, serving, and assisting customers when business demands it Training new employees and reinforcing expectations with existing staff Maintaining a friendly, professional, and customer-focused atmosphere Monitoring inventory and communicating ordering needs Helping manage liquor, beer, food, and supply levels Making sure opening and closing procedures are completed correctly Overseeing cash handling, drawers, and basic shift reconciliation Maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the bar, restaurant, kitchen, and customer areas Ensuring food service and alcohol-service requirements are followed Assisting with gaming/slots and customer questions as needed Helping coordinate live music, trivia, bingo, parties, and other special events Addressing customer concerns and resolving issues professionally Holding employees accountable for attendance, performance, cleanliness, and customer service expectations Communicating maintenance, staffing, inventory, or operational concerns to ownership Looking for ways to improve organization, customer experience, sales, and overall operations What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who can take ownership of the position and recognize what needs to be done without needing constant direction.

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous bartending, restaurant, bar, or hospitality experience Previous supervisory or management experience strongly preferred Strong customer-service skills Good communication and organizational skills The ability to lead employees while still working as part of the team The ability to multitask and remain organized during busy periods Dependability and flexibility with scheduling Comfort handling customer and employee concerns Basic understanding of cash handling and inventory control Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and special events as needed Ability to assist with gaming/slots when needed Food Handler Certification or ability to obtain required certification BASSET Certification preferred; assistance with certification can be provided if needed Schedule The Vault operates approximately 10:00 AM-12:00 AM , depending on the day and scheduled events. This position will require a flexible schedule and may include days, evenings, weekends, and special events. The manager will have regularly scheduled hours but should also have some flexibility to assist with staffing needs, events, or unusually busy periods.
