RESTAURANT SHIFT LEAD POSITION SUMMARY
The Restaurant Shift Lead is responsible for executing restaurant operations, in conjunction with the General Manager. The Restaurant Shift Lead follows standard operational procedures for upholding Brand Values and helping the business thrive. Focus is on influencing a guest-centric culture that consistently delivers excellent guest service and food quality while ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Compensation & Benefits Pay Range :
$17 - $21 per hour (including hourly tip pool)

Key Duties & Responsibilities Operations :
Maintains brand image by ensuring restaurant cleanliness, maintenance, and excellent service. Follows company guidelines and executes protocols for daily activities to achieve excellence in restaurant operational performance.
Team Leadership :
Treats all team members with respect and dignity. Supports the General Manager to identify and train internal candidates for Shift Lead positions. Assists in training employees and ensures operations meet company standards.
Guest Experience :
Encourages teams to consistently deliver excellent guest service and food quality in adherence with brand systems, procedures, and food safety requirements. Interacts with guests and the community; responds to questions, concerns, and complaints in a timely and professional manner. Promptly escalates issues to the General Manager.
Business Growth :
Works with other team members to deliver initiatives designed to drive profitable, long-term sales growth. Reviews, practices, and modifies workflows to continuously improve the guest experience.
Financials & Compliance :
Assists the General Manager in using management information tools to analyze restaurant operational and financial performance. Helps identify trends and action items for improvement. Monitors costs and adherence to budgets. Complies with all State and Federal labor laws and regulations.
Qualifications Education :
High school diploma or equivalent required. Must be at least 18 years old to remain in compliance with labor laws.
Experience :
6+ months of restaurant operations experience.
Skills & Knowledge :
Must complete Shift Lead training classes. ServSafe certification is required in applicable states. Ability to communicate in English is required; Spanish comprehension is helpful. Fundamental reading, writing, math, and computer/POS skills are required. Must have access to adequate transportation.
Physical Requirements :
May be required to reach, bend, stoop, climb, and/or lift up to 50 pounds . Must be able to operate equipment at standard heights while walking or standing during an entire shift.
Availability :
Must be willing to work a variety of shifts (sometimes exceeding eight hours) based on operating hours. Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
Pay:
$17.00 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
