Job description: Sweet Paris Creperie & Cafe in Mall of America is hiring a General Manager. Candidates must be able to perform duties including managing business costs, employee retention, guest service and satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness and sanitation.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Achieve company objectives in sales, service, quality of food, appearance of facility, and sanitation/cleanliness Hiring and thorough training of staff. Creating a positive, productive working environment. Create and maintain staff schedule ensuring that all positions are staffed when and as needed and labor cost objectives are met. Possess a solid understanding of food costs and inventory and create orders based on needs of the restaurant. Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant's recipes, portioning, cooking, and serving standards. Ensure that all equipment is kept in working condition and follow the restaurant's preventative maintenance programs. Ensure that all guests feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service. Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety, and labor requirements of the restaurant, employees, and guests. Capable of communicating effectively with staff, Assistant General Manager, and executive management.

Experience:

Friendly demeanor, courteous and thorough problem solver, and team-player mentality. 2+ years work experience in restaurant management or similar role in the hospitality industry. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required Availability on weekends and holidays High School degree or equivalent preferred. 21+ years of age preferred. Range $50,000-$60,000 salary per year, with potential for higher DOE. Quarterly Bonus Program Full Time, In Person position Health, Dental and Vision Benefits offered after 2 months.
