The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for maintaining high standards of food quality, service, and cleanliness while managing staff and inventory effectively. Responsibilities Oversee daily restaurant operations and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Manage staff recruitment, training, and development to build a skilled and motivated team. Implement effective inventory control measures to minimize waste and manage costs. Utilize POS systems (Tabit) for efficient order processing and cash handling. Ensure high standards of food preparation, presentation, and service in line with restaurant policies. Monitor customer satisfaction and address any issues or feedback promptly. Develop budgets and financial plans to achieve profitability goals. Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate expectations, provide feedback, and foster teamwork. Supervise kitchen operations to ensure quality food production and adherence to food safety standards. Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery of food products and manage vendor relationships. Skills Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within the food service industry. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and culinary skills. Familiarity with various POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS) for efficient transaction processing. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Strong customer service orientation with the ability to resolve conflicts effectively. Experience in budgeting, financial management, and inventory control practices. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Previous experience in fine dining or casual dining settings is preferred.
