Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reconciliation. Conduct staff training sessions on food handling, customer service, and operational procedures. Support shift management by scheduling staff efficiently and ensuring smooth service flow. Monitor financial performance through profit and loss analysis; assist with budgeting efforts. Enforce food safety standards and health regulations to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff. Lead by example in team management, interviewing candidates, onboarding new hires, and fostering professional development. Qualifications Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant management with a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management. Prior assistant manager or supervisory experience within the food industry is essential. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling expertise required. Demonstrated ability in inventory control, food safety management, and managing hospitality teams. Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, develop, and motivate staff effectively. Excellent communication skills tailored to managerial roles; capable of managing team dynamics smoothly. Knowledge of food production processes, catering or banquet experience is a plus. Basic math skills for budgeting, profit analysis, and transaction accuracy. Experience in casual dining or fine dining environments preferred; hospitality management background highly valued.
