Job Summary Under general supervision of the Food Service Supervisor/Executive Chef, cooks, directs, instructs and coordinates: culinary activities of the kitchen and cafeteria.
Job Requirements Minimum Education Requirement:
High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Advanced culinary art training preferred.
Minimum Experience Requirement:
5 years prior cooking experience required. Excellent customer service skills.
Minimum License Requirement:
HACCP knowledge required. Serve Safe certified preferred. Valid California Driver's License required. Must be 21 years of age or older; must have two (2) years of continuous driving experience in the state of California. If a license is suspended, the experience record begins from the time of license reinstatement. Must have no major convictions (ie DUI/DWI, hit and run, driving w/suspended license, reckless driving, eluding police, open containers, exhibition of speed (racing), negligent driving); must have no more than one (1) moving citation in a three (3) year period; must have no more than one (1) at
fault accident in a three (3) year period.
Accidents will be considered at-fault unless evidence is provided (ie police report and/or letter from insurance company) showing the incident as not at-fault. Delivering world-class health care one patient at a time.
