This role oversees daily store operations, delegates tasks, maintains quality standards, and ensures brand guidelines and health/safety compliance are met throughout the shift.
Open and close the store according to operational standards. Oversee store cash handling procedures, cash drawer counts, and safe deposits. Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and track stock usage during shifts.
Customer Service Excellence:
Lead by example in delivering prompt, friendly service and handcrafted beverages according to Starbucks standards. Efficiently resolve customer issues and handle elevated inquiries with professionalism.
Team Support & Delegation:
Delegate tasks and deploy barista team members effectively to optimize store workflow and speed of service. Coach, mentor, and provide constructive feedback to baristas on beverage quality, customer connection, and operational standards.
Quality & Safety Compliance:
Ensure strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards across all work areas and equipment. Monitor equipment performance and log temperature checks as required.
Qualifications & Skills Experience:
1+ years of customer service or retail experience required; prior supervisory or Starbucks barista experience preferred.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Skills:
Strong communication, time-management, and problem-solving abilities.
Requirements:
Ability to work flexible hours (early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays) and obtain any required local food handler certifications.
