Food Service Supervisor Summary The Food Service Supervisor supervises and coordinates activities of Food and Nutrition Service employees to ensure that established standards for food quality, employee safety, facility safety and sanitation, and customer satisfaction are met. Areas of supervision may include
- trayline, cafeteria, and patient services.
Food Service Supervisor Requirements Education High School Graduate or GED preferred. Additional coursework in food service and sanitation is preferred. Experience Four years' food service experience with a minimum of 18 months in health care for patient care areas. Experience in sanitation, food quality, and safety required. Food Service Supervisor Schedule Day and evening shifts: 5:30 AM to 2 PM, 8 AM to 4 PM, 10 AM to 6 PM, 12 PM to 8 PM. Work weekends as scheduled. Expected to work overtime occasionally. Food Service Supervisor Benefits At TidalHealth, team members working at least 36 hours per pay period based on 12-hour shift schedules or at least 37.5 hours for non-12-hour shift schedules and part-time team members working at least 30 hours or more on weekends only are eligible for benefits.
