Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Leader to join our team. As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our establishment, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a positive work environment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, culinary knowledge, and experience in food service management.

Responsibilities:

Manage and supervise a team of employees during assigned shifts
Ensure smooth operation of all areas
Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and resolving issues
Train new employees on company policies, procedures, and standards
Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure consistency
Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash handling procedures
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards
Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
Collaborate with the Assistant Manager to achieve business goals and targets

Skills:

Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
Culinary knowledge and experience in a fast-paced environment
Previous experience in an Assistant Manager or Shift Leader role preferred
Proficient in cash handling procedures and POS system
Knowledge of food safety regulations and ability to enforce them
Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with customers and employees
