This position will consist of Sat/Sun opening shifts for breakfast. We are a local neighborhood pub that is consistent and busy, so we are looking for someone that is fast, motivated, and a team player to help in the kitchen for the Cook/Barback position. Breakfast experience is required for this position.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• $22•25/hr.

+ Tips (tips here are typically much higher than most kitchen jobs)

• Average shift is 8-10 hours
• Average tip-out for Cook/Barback is an additional $50
• 80 per shift (many shifts earn more, some less, but that is a pretty fair average)

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

(It is a hybrid position, so you will be doing a little bit of everything depending on the day, but with help from all staff)

• Cooking food
• Standard kitchen cleaning, opening, closing, re-stocking ready-to-cook items, and prepping duties
• Running food to tables
• Bussing tables on way back to kitchen.
• Barback duties; bar dishes, changing kegs, stocking beer bottles, trash, etc.

REQUIREMENTS

• Breakfast experience necessary, will train for all other duties.
• Hard-working, motivated, and team player with a strong work-ethic. In a bar/restaurant/pub there is always something to do or clean, so someone who takes direction when needed, but will find things to do or help with
• and will be compensated accordingly with additional tips and better shifts.
• Weekends and evenings are a must, but not exclusively
• Must be 21+ with proper work permissions
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. once or twice per shift
• Must be able to lift up to 15-25lbs. regularly (dish racks, recycling and garbage bags)
• Must move quickly and be able to work on your feet
