Responsibilities Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed descriptions of food and drink options Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Micros POS and Aloha POS, ensuring timely processing of sales transactions Serve food and beverages efficiently, including cocktails, wine, spirits, and non-alcoholic drinks, maintaining high standards of presentation and safety Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales through suggestive selling techniques like OpenTable reservations and beverage recommendations Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments via POS systems, and give correct change while maintaining accountability Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in line with food safety regulations; assist with food handling and preparation when needed Foster guest relations by providing attentive service, addressing inquiries promptly, and ensuring overall satisfaction during their visit Qualifications Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS or Aloha POS; familiarity with OpenTable is advantageous Demonstrated ability in beverage service including cocktail mixing, wine knowledge, spirits experience, and drink presentation Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently during busy hours Solid customer service skills with a friendly attitude and a focus on guest satisfaction Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing sales transactions Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Experience in food preparation or kitchen operations is beneficial but not required; a passion for the food industry is essential Embark on a rewarding journey where your enthusiasm makes every guest's experience extraordinary!
