Serve food, cocktails, wine, spirits, and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness. Upsell menu items including premium drinks, desserts, or specialty dishes to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Process cash transactions accurately, handle credit card payments via POS systems like OpenTable or other platforms, and give correct change. Maintain knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques to ensure guest safety. Assist with bussing tables, setting up dining areas, and supporting kitchen staff when needed to ensure smooth service flow. Build rapport with guests through attentive service and guest relations skills to foster repeat business. Requirements Previous food service experience in restaurants, cafes, or nightlife venues is preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus. Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms; experience with OpenTable is advantageous. Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours. Demonstrated ability in upselling menu items to maximize sales opportunities. Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities. Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly attitude and ability to build guest relations.
