Job Description
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled server to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service, be detail-oriented, and possess excellent communication skills.Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following standard recipes
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations when needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Check customers' identification to ensure they meet the legal drinking age
- Handle cash and operate the cash register
- Upsell additional products when appropriate
- Adhere to food safety and handling procedures
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely drink service
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years serving experience in fine dining or high volume restaurants.
- Bar knowledge including wine knowledge, basic cocktails, and beer knowledge.
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of math for measuring ingredients and handling transactions
- Familiarity with food service procedures
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to operate a cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Understanding of food safety regulations
