Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring accurate order processing, and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly, present menus, and provide detailed descriptions of menu items, including wine and spirits options. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery. Upsell menu items, beverages, and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining proper beverage service etiquette, including cocktail presentation. Process cash and credit card transactions accurately, handling cash handling responsibilities with integrity. Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations in compliance with sanitation standards. Assist with food handling and food preparation tasks as needed to support kitchen staff and ensure smooth operations. Provide excellent guest relations by addressing inquiries promptly, resolving issues professionally, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction. Support other restaurant functions such as bussing tables, hosting duties, or assisting with food safety practices when required. Requirements Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments; fine dining experience is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms. Strong knowledge of wine, spirits, beverage service, and cocktail preparation techniques. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours. Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a positive attitude. Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and handling cash responsibly. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures. Previous experience in hospitality roles such as host/hostess or cashier is advantageous. Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills; guest relations focus is essential.
