Responsibilities Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with a friendly, professional demeanor Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring special requests are noted Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness Upsell menu items including wines, spirits, cocktails, or special dishes to enhance the guest experience and increase sales Process cash and credit card transactions accurately, handling cash handling and cashiering responsibilities with integrity Maintain knowledge of menu offerings, including wine pairings, spirits, and food safety protocols to assist guests effectively Clear tables efficiently through bussing duties while ensuring sanitation standards are upheld in food handling and overall cleanliness Qualifications Previous food service or restaurant experience with a focus on fine dining or casual dining environments Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations professionally Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is a plus Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately Culinary experience or food industry background preferred but not required; a passion for hospitality is essential Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and maintain high energy levels throughout shifts Join us in creating an inviting atmosphere where every guest leaves satisfied!
