It's about taking care of people. And that's exactly what you do. A Main Street Cafe Sever has a "Guests First" attitude, responding to guests and coworkers in a timely, courteous, and respectful way while: Greeting and seating guests. Taking orders and delivering great food. Suggesting new menu items like our limited time offerings or flavored coffees. Receiving payment for the Cashier and making correct change. Willingly assisting team members without being asked. Helping to keep our restaurants clean, completing side work, and organizing supplies as needed. Providing total guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
• Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
• Check identification to ensure customers are of legal drinking age
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area
• Monitor alcohol consumption and prevent over-intoxication
• Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
• Provide excellent customer service and address customer concerns or complaints
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operations

Experience:

• Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role is preferred
• Knowledge of Point of Sale (POS) systems and cash registers
• Strong math skills for accurately calculating bills and making change
• Hospitality and customer service skills to provide a welcoming atmosphere for guests
• Basic knowledge of brewing techniques and cocktail recipes
• Familiarity with catering or restaurant operations is a plus
