Maintain clear communication with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely food delivery as a Food Runner, supporting seamless service flow. Assist servers by delivering food and beverages promptly, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met. Manage guest inquiries via phone with professional phone etiquette, providing information on reservations, wait times, or menu details. Support guest relations by addressing customer needs courteously and professionally to enhance overall dining experience. Uphold food safety standards by following proper handling procedures and maintaining cleanliness in all service areas. Utilize POS systems for order entry and billing processes accurately while managing restaurant reservation management tasks efficiently. Qualifications Prior experience as a host/hostess or in food service is highly preferred. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members. Demonstrated organizational skills to manage multiple tables, reservations, and guest requests simultaneously. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS. Knowledge of restaurant table management systems and familiarity with food safety protocols. Experience in customer service roles within hospitality environments that emphasize guest relations and hospitality excellence. Ability to stand for extended periods, walk swiftly between tables, and lift moderate loads when necessary.
