SERVER The Cronin & 101 Club | Marshall, Michigan Meat Beer Whiskey & Hospitality The Cronin & 101 Club is looking for confident, personable, and hospitality-driven Servers to join our opening team. Located in historic downtown Marshall, The Cronin & 101 Club brings together two distinct experiences under one roof: The Cronin , offering an elevated casual dining experience, and The 101 Club , a sophisticated lounge inspired by the character, history, and spirit of the Prohibition era. We aren't looking for someone who simply takes orders and delivers food. We're looking for hospitality professionals who know how to create an experience.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Our ideal server is warm, polished, knowledgeable, attentive, and able to read the table. You should know when a guest wants conversation and recommendations—and when they simply want to enjoy their evening. We are looking for team members who can: Provide genuine, attentive hospitality without making service feel scripted or rushed. Guide guests confidently through our food, beer, whiskey, wine, cocktail, and beverage selections. Learn our menu thoroughly and speak comfortably about ingredients, preparation, pairings, and recommendations. Anticipate guest needs and maintain table awareness throughout the dining experience. Pace service naturally according to the guest's experience. Accurately enter orders and communicate effectively with bartenders, food runners, bussers, hosts, managers, and the kitchen. Maintain clean, organized, and properly prepared tables and service areas. Handle guest concerns professionally and involve management when appropriate. Follow all food safety, alcohol service, cash-handling, and company policies. Complete opening, running, and closing responsibilities efficiently. Work as part of the entire restaurant team rather than focusing solely on assigned tables. Maintain composure, professionalism, and attention to detail during high-volume service.

Different guests want different experiences, and great servers recognize the difference. Want to learn. Our team will be expected to develop strong knowledge of our menu, spirits, cocktails, beer, wine, restaurant history, and overall concept. Stay composed under pressure. A busy dining room should sharpen your focus, not change how you treat people. Understand teamwork. If another table needs something, we don't walk past it because it "isn't our section."

EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS

Previous serving or hospitality experience is preferred, particularly in full-service, upscale-casual, fine-dining, craft cocktail, steakhouse, or high-volume environments. Candidates must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs and meet all applicable requirements for serving alcoholic beverages. Reliable attendance, professional appearance, strong communication skills, and the ability to work on your feet throughout the shift are essential.

$5.49 - $7.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 35.0 per week
