Job Description

Restaurant Server Status:

Hourly, Non-Exempt Reports to: Director of Operations

GENERAL PURPOSE

The Server is responsible for taking guest orders, serving, and informing guests of various beverages and food options in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner. The Server will work closely with other wait staff and the kitchen team to ensure the restaurant is operating efficiently.

SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS

Servers must be available for mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Schedule will fluctuate (2 week notice for scheduling). Reliable attendance and punctuality required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Inform guests of various beverage and food pairings. Describe food ingredients, textures, and tastes in detail. Take food and beverage orders from guests. Monitor food distribution. Prepare final bills and process payments. Assist other servers. Perform side work. Maintain clean service areas. Other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT

Work in team environment. Be able to adapt to warm and cold temperatures. Lift, push, and pull 50+ lbs. Stand/move 8+ hours. Kneel, squat, bend, stoop, twist.
