Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff Serve food, beverages, cocktails, spirits, and wine with professionalism and flair, demonstrating cocktail experience and beverage service expertise Process sales transactions efficiently while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods accurately Upsell menu items including drinks, desserts, or specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and adhering to food safety protocols Assist with food handling and preparation when necessary to support kitchen operations during busy periods Requirements Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; familiarity with OpenTable is advantageous Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude and guest relations focus Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking seamlessly Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and handling sales transactions efficiently Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail recipes, and beverage presentation techniques Experience with food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Previous roles involving serving, bartending, cashiering or host/hostess duties are highly valued Join us to be part of a lively team that thrives on delivering outstanding hospitality!
