Duties Greet guests warmly and manage reservations using OpenTable or similar reservation systems to optimize seating flow. Take orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, processing sales transactions seamlessly. Provide expert beverage service, including cocktail mixing, wine recommendations, spirits knowledge, and drink presentation to enhance guest satisfaction. Upsell menu items and beverages to increase sales while ensuring guests receive personalized recommendations based on their preferences. Serve food and beverages with professionalism, ensuring proper food handling, sanitation standards, and timely delivery. Assist with food preparation and kitchen support when needed to maintain smooth restaurant operations. Maintain cleanliness by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to sanitation protocols for food safety and hygiene. Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently while managing guest relations with attentive service. Support host/hostess duties by managing guest seating arrangements and providing excellent guest relations from arrival to departure. Collaborate with team members in a fast-paced environment typical of fine dining or nightclub settings to ensure an energetic and positive atmosphere. Qualifications Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments; fine dining or nightclub experience is highly valued. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with OpenTable is a plus. Demonstrated culinary experience along with beverage expertise including cocktails, spirits, wine knowledge, and drink service. Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively during busy hours. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality excellence. Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and handling cash confidently. Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
