The Somerville Elks Banquet Hall is not your average Elks Lodge. We have two beautiful halls and can accommodate up to three parties at a time. Our staff is friendly and accommodating creating a fun workplace. We know that the service industry can be a tough place, but we strive to make this as much of a pleasurable experience as we can! Here, when we say "we're a family" we really mean it. Making the workplace a safe and enjoyable environment is our top priority. We hope you join us at the Somerville Elks! Shifts are by-party. Generally, you will work between 10-20 hours. We offer an array of parties from weddings, to birthdays, repasts, showers, meetings, etc. Job duties range from event set-up/clean-up, providing buffet style food, beverages, and desserts, and maintaining a clean work environment. Qualifications/Requirements  Must be 15 years or older (working permit for under 18)  Vibrant personality  Able to lift heavy objects (up to 20 pounds)  Work on weekends and week days  Work in a fast-paced environment  Be able to be on your feet for 8+ hours  Be on time for shifts  Great customer service with party guests 
