Responsibilities Clear and reset tables swiftly to maintain a clean and inviting dining space. Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to guests accurately and promptly, ensuring proper food handling procedures. Assist servers by bussing tables, refilling water glasses, and providing support to enhance guest satisfaction. Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of trays, dishes, and supplies while practicing safe lifting techniques. Maintain cleanliness in all service areas by cleaning tables, chairs, floors, and service stations regularly. Support kitchen staff with basic food running duties when needed, ensuring smooth flow of orders. Communicate effectively with team members using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS to coordinate service efficiently. Skills Strong cleaning skills to uphold sanitation standards and ensure a tidy environment. Experience in bussing or food running within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Knowledge of safe manual handling practices and heavy lifting techniques. Familiarity with food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures. Excellent communication skills for effective guest interactions and team coordination. Ability to perform in-person customer service with a friendly, positive attitude. Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred but not required. Basic understanding of food preparation and food safety standards within a restaurant environment. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations while maintaining attention to detail.
