HOLIDAYS ALSO Duties Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktails, spirits, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages Process sales transactions accurately while handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas following food safety guidelines Assist with food preparation when needed and ensure proper food handling procedures are followed Collaborate with kitchen staff to deliver timely service and resolve any guest concerns promptly Manage multiple tables efficiently through excellent time management skills while providing exceptional guest relations Experience Previous food service experience in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms is highly desirable Experience with fine dining or upscale restaurants enhances your ability to excel in this role Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service adds value to guest interactions Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and creating memorable experiences Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure Basic math skills for processing sales transactions and managing tabs effectively Food safety certification or experience with sanitation standards is a plus Embark on a rewarding journey where your passion for hospitality makes a difference!
