As a Server/Cashier you will build rapport with customers, answer questions about the menu, take orders, and serve food and drinks, handling cash transactions, and ensuring a clean and welcoming atmosphere. The ideal candidate is friendly, outgoing, and has fantastic attention to detail. Duties Greet customers warmly Through knowledge of the menu, preparation and presentation of each item Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently. Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales. Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments while maintaining accuracy in math calculations. Operate the cash register and POS system for transactions. Prepare food items as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety standards. As Expo, you are responsible for ensuring that each dish is prepared according to the customer's specifications and meets the restaurant's quality standard Collaborate with staff and provide accurate orders to the kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders. Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as necessary. Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, kitchen, and food preparation areas. Requirements Previous experience as a server is preferred Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is essential. Attention to details and quick learner to master POS system and Expo position Familiarity with cash registers and POS systems is a plus. Strong math skills for handling transactions accurately. Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor towards customers. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and carrying trays Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
