Responsibilities Coordinate between kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely delivery of hot, cold, and special-order dishes. Verify that all food items meet quality standards before serving, including presentation and temperature. Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including plating and garnishing dishes to meet presentation standards. Communicate clearly with kitchen staff about order modifications, dietary restrictions, or special requests from guests. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expediting station to promote food safety and efficiency. Support bussing duties by clearing tables promptly and assisting with guest needs to enhance overall service flow. Ensure compliance with food handling and safety regulations at all times to uphold health standards. Qualifications Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, with a strong understanding of kitchen operations. Knowledge of food preparation techniques, plating, and presentation standards. Previous banquet or catering experience is a plus, demonstrating versatility in fast-paced settings. Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team members. Familiarity with food safety protocols and proper handling procedures. Ability to multitask efficiently in a lively environment while maintaining attention to detail.
