Job Summary We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Server to join our vibrant restaurant team! Duties Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm, offering personalized recommendations. Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clarity and attention to detail. Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness. Upsell menu items, including wines, spirits, cocktails, and specialty dishes to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales. Process cash transactions accurately, handle credit card payments through POS systems like OpenTable or other platforms, and manage cash handling responsibly. Maintain knowledge of wine pairings, spirits, cocktail recipes, and food safety standards to provide expert guidance to guests. Support food preparation, bussing tables, and ensuring sanitation standards are consistently met in compliance with food safety regulations. Foster positive guest relations by addressing inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth restaurant operations during busy periods. Requirements Proven experience as a Server in a fast-paced restaurant environment; fine dining experience is a plus. Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for order processing and sales transactions. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally. Demonstrated ability in upselling beverages including spirits, wine knowledge, cocktails, and specialty drinks. Food handling certification or knowledge of sanitation practices required; experience with food safety standards is essential. Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume service periods while maintaining attention to detail. Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing sales transactions efficiently. Culinary experience or kitchen familiarity is advantageous for understanding food preparation processes. Strong communication skills coupled with a friendly attitude that promotes guest satisfaction.
