Department:

Workforce Development

Instructional Job Summary Instruct students in the Pharmacy Technician certificate program.

Prepare students to take the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board's PTCB exam. Provide technically relevant instruction in classroom and/or laboratory setting according to established program objectives. Instruct from approved curriculum. Responsible for assessment and feedback. Make suggestions for improvement to ensure students satisfy course standards, training requirements and objectives. Motivate students to actively participate in all aspects of the educational process. Maintain student attendance. Assist with course/program evaluation. Qualifications

Education Doctor of Pharmacy or RPh from an accredited college or university, licensed as a pharmacist in the state of New Jersey, or a PTCB certified Pharmacy Technician. Qualifications
Experience 3+ years' as a Licensed Pharmacist or Pharmacy Technician. Hospital pharmacy experience with IV and compounding experience strongly preferred. Some retail pharmacy experience highly desired. Qualifications
Skills Prefer prior post-secondary classroom teaching experience.

Excellent communication skills. Current NJ PharmD License required. Work Hours Class schedules may include day, evening or weekend schedules. Please specify availability.
