Are you an organized, energetic team player, and a leader in the HR field? Chesapeake Health & Rehabilitation Center in Chesapeake is seeking a dynamic human resources professional who leads by example, maintains integrity, and enjoys working in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment. Our facility is part of the MFA/Vita/Innovative team of skilled nursing homes. Conveniently located off of Battlefield Blvd next to Chesapeake Hospital. This position reports to the facility Administrator and is supported by a corporate Human Resources consultant who offers ongoing training and assistance. This highly visible position is responsible for developing and executing recruitment, retention and recognition processes that encourage a committed, customer-oriented workforce; assists with investigating and resolving complaints, problems and morale issues; and requires outstanding communication, analytical and interpersonal skills. Qualified candidates will possess a bachelor's degree with concentration in Human Resources or related field or equivalent experience. Two years HR experience required, preferably in a health care setting. PHR or SPHR preferred.
