: Candidates without previous HR Generalist or related HR experience will not be considered. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with general HR functions, employee relations, onboarding/offboarding, personnel files, HR documentation, attendance/timekeeping, benefits support, and maintaining confidentiality.
Responsibilities may include:
Providing day-to-day HR support to employees and management
Handling employee relations questions and concerns
Maintaining confidential personnel records and HR documentation
Supporting onboarding and offboarding processes
Assisting with recruiting and new-hire paperwork
Updating HRIS and employee records
Supporting attendance, timekeeping, and leave administration
Assisting with benefits administration and employee inquiries
Preparing HR reports, correspondence, and spreadsheets
Assisting with HR policies, compliance, and employee documentation
MUST HAVES
Previous HR Generalist, HR Coordinator, or similar hands-on HR experience
Strong knowledge of HR practices and procedures
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to handle confidential information professionally
Microsoft Office experience, particularly Word and Excel
Ability to work Monday-Friday onsite in San Bernardino Government or public sector HR experience is a plus!
