Job Description
MUST HAVE HR EXPERIENCE
: Candidates without previous HR Generalist or related HR experience will not be considered. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with general HR functions, employee relations, onboarding/offboarding, personnel files, HR documentation, attendance/timekeeping, benefits support, and maintaining confidentiality.Responsibilities may include:
- Providing day-to-day HR support to employees and management
- Handling employee relations questions and concerns
- Maintaining confidential personnel records and HR documentation
- Supporting onboarding and offboarding processes
- Assisting with recruiting and new-hire paperwork
- Updating HRIS and employee records
- Supporting attendance, timekeeping, and leave administration
- Assisting with benefits administration and employee inquiries
- Preparing HR reports, correspondence, and spreadsheets
- Assisting with HR policies, compliance, and employee documentation
MUST HAVES
- Previous HR Generalist, HR Coordinator, or similar hands-on HR experience
- Strong knowledge of HR practices and procedures
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally
- Microsoft Office experience, particularly Word and Excel
- Ability to work Monday-Friday onsite in San Bernardino Government or public sector HR experience is a plus!
