•$29 hourly (Depending on Experience and Expertise on Key Functions)

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking an organized, proactive Human Resources Generalist to oversee key HR operations, employee relations, compliance, payroll, and recruitment. In this pivotal role, you will report directly to the Finance & Business Operations Manager and partner with department leaders to optimize talent acquisition, employee relations, employee trainings and while cultivating a positive company culture and ensuring seamless day-to-day HR function. A successful person in this role will have a continuous improvement mindset and enjoy building systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding & Talent Management Partner with hiring managers to build structured recruitment workflows, including role scorecards, standard candidate criteria, and planned question guides prior to interviews. Manage end-to-end recruitment pipelines through Indeed and facilitate interview stages. Conduct candidate background checks, employment verifications, and I-9 eligibility processing. Lead new hire orientation, onboarding programs, and employee recognition initiatives. Administer and monitor performance management workflows, supporting leadership with official review cycles, scorecard tracking, and regular 1:1 check-in cadences. HRIS, Payroll & Benefits Administration Oversee bi-weekly payroll accurately within payroll software, maintaining all associated payroll records and remitting

retirement contributions. Manage day-to-day HRIS profile administration, security permissions, data entry across the employee lifecycle, and reporting. Administer employee health benefits, enrollment changes, leave requests, and compensation change processes. Compliance & Safety Track and document mandatory and non-mandatory training compliance (safety programs, anti-harassment, certifications, and aptitude assessments). Maintain thorough knowledge of federal, state (Florida), and local employment regulations to ensure full policy compliance. Handle employment inquiries, investigations, disciplinary actions, and terminations with confidentiality, objectivity, and professionalism. Daily Operations & Communication Utilize Apple Mac OS, Slack, and Monday.com to manage HR projects, cross-departmental communication, and internal workflows. Monitor workplace morale, productivity, and health & safety standards across the facility.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of hands-on HR management experience required.

Certification:

Active SHRM-CP certification required.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred but not required.

Technical Skills:

Experience with Rippling or similar HRIS and payroll software systems. Proficiency with Apple Mac OS, Slack, and Monday.com (or similar project management platforms). Advanced skill with spreadsheet data analytics and word processing.

Key Competencies:

Demonstrated ability to structure recruitment frameworks and guide hiring managers. Thorough knowledge of Florida and federal employment law. Strong conflict resolution, negotiation, project management, and analytical skills. High level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
