Job Description

Position Summary The HR Generalist will play a key role in supporting both production and retail teams across the state, ensuring consistent implementation of HR policies, employee relations, and compliance practices. This individual will also be responsible for coordinating training programs, assisting in recruitment, and promoting a positive and compliant work environment that aligns with company culture and Florida cannabis regulations. We are dedicated to producing and delivering high-quality cannabis products through a network of production facilities and retail dispensaries across the state. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a knowledgeable and motivated Human Resources Generalist to join our team and help shape the people and culture side of our expanding organization. This position will be based at our corporate headquarters in Mount Dora, FL, with regular communication across various departments and periodic travel to sites throughout the state. Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day HR support to employees and managers across production and retail departments. Administer HR policies, benefits, and compliance procedures in accordance with company standards and Florida law. Partner with managers to address employee relations issues, investigations, and performance management. Assist in tracking employee onboarding, training, and compliance documentation. Support recruitment efforts and collaborate with the Onboarding Specialist for new hire integration. Maintain HR records, reports, and systems (HRIS). Conduct site visits to retail and production locations for employee engagement, training sessions, and audits. Ensure compliance with cannabis industry workforce regulations and Department of Health standards. Support the HR Director in policy development, training initiatives, and employee engagement programs. This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 3-5 years of HR experience (multi-site or regulated industry preferred). Strong working knowledge of Florida labor and employment laws. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage confidential information with discretion. Experience with HRIS systems and MS Office Suite. Must be able to pass background screening in compliance with OMMU regulations. Prior experience in cannabis, manufacturing, or retail industries strongly preferred.
