Summary Atlas Staffing is hiring an experienced HR Generalist for a Direct Hire opportunity with a well established manufacturing and distribution company in Spokane, WA. This role is ideal for an HR professional who enjoys working closely with employees and leadership while owning recruiting, employee relations, compliance, onboarding, and day to day HR support. Role Purpose The HR Generalist will serve as a primary HR resource for the local division, helping ensure consistent HR practices, strong employee support, and compliance with state and federal employment requirements. This position will partner closely with managers throughout recruiting, employee relations, performance management, and other key HR functions. Responsibilities
Serve as a primary HR contact for employees and leadership
Apply HR policies, procedures, and employment practices consistently
Coordinate recruiting efforts across job boards, schools, referrals, job fairs, social media, and other sourcing channels
Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, job requirements, qualifications, and candidate profiles
Screen and assess candidates based on experience, education, skills, and overall fit
Manage internal job postings and employee referral processes
Coordinate pre employment and post employment requirements including background checks, motor vehicle checks, E Verify, reference checks, drug screens, physicals, testing, and driving evaluations when applicable
Conduct new hire orientation and support onboarding
Maintain the applicant tracking system and required recruiting documentation
Support Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action outreach efforts
Maintain current position descriptions and standardized interview guides
Support employee relations, performance management, terminations, and exit interviews
Recommend improvements to HR policies, procedures, and internal processes
Manage multiple priorities and time sensitive deadlines in a fast paced environment Qualifications
Bachelor's degree plus at least 4 years of professional Human Resources experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Manufacturing or distribution HR experience preferred
SHRM, PHR, or SPHR certification preferred
Strong written, verbal, and listening skills
Working knowledge of employment laws, confidentiality requirements, HIPAA, and OSHA safety requirements
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Strong attention to detail and follow through
Comfortable partnering with employees, supervisors, and leadership at multiple levels
Ability to travel as needed Pay
Salaried position starting at $80,168.40 annually
Direct Hire opportunity
Paid weekly Available Shifts
Monday through Friday
