ORA_ON_SITE Description We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated AI Training and Curriculum Specialist to join our
INDOPACOM
team in Camp Smith, HI.
Job Duties:
Design, develop, and maintain foundational, intermediate, and advanced AI curriculum, including presentations, exercises, instructor guides, and participant materials. Deliver instructor-led AI training, workshops, demonstrations, and hands-on exercises across the command. Support the development and mentorship of internal AI trainers to expand the command's training capacity. Coordinate course scheduling, registration, participant communications, attendance tracking, evaluations, and completion records. Collaborate with command stakeholders to identify training needs, mission-relevant use cases, and opportunities to improve AI adoption. Stay updated on emerging AI tools, capabilities, risks, policies, and responsible-use practices. Develop and deliver presentations, reports, and briefings on AI training activities and program outcomes. Support industry engagements, workshops, command-wide events, training plans, and other program requirements.
Qualifications Required Education and Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and Ten (10) years of work experience; Four (4) additional years of experience in lieu of degree. Experience developing and delivering training materials, including designing and creating presentations, workshops, hands-on exercises, user guides, quick reference materials, and technical demonstrations. The ability to convey complex technical and AI-related concepts (such as prompt engineering, generative AI capabilities, limitations, and best practices) in a clear, simple, and engaging manner to non-technical stakeholders. Hands-on experience using generative AI tools and platforms such as Maven Smart System, ChatGPT, Grok, and Gemini, including strong prompt engineering, evaluating AI outputs, and refining results for quality and accuracy.
Required Clearance:
Must have an active Secret clearance with ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience working in a government or defense environment. Combatant Command or Four-Star Service component experience would be ideal. Knowledge of data security, responsible AI, cybersecurity, and ethical considerations in AI applications.
Target salary range:
$120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
