ORA_ON_SITE Description SAIC is seeking a Joint Training & Exercise Campaign Analyst located at Camp Smith in Hawaii to support
USPACOM J75
to help shape and execute the USPACOM Joint Training and Exercise Campaign Plan along with associated exercise events.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Develop joint training concepts that support the Joint Training Plan (JTP) including Field Training Exercises (FTX), Command-Post Exercises (CPX), and training support activities and investments. Support the
USPACOM J75
by maintaining a deliberate plan of action with milestones for the JTP in addition to production of required orders, briefings, and planning deliverables. Apply operational art to solve complex problems in a dynamic geostrategic security environment, aligning the training campaign with the Theater Campaign Plan (TCP) and the USPACOM Joint Exercise Programs (JEPs). Ensure coordination with staff and other organizations to include Joint Staff J7 and Service components. Develop, implement, and maintain efficient protocols, processes, and procedures supporting
USPACOM J7
representation within headquarters planning activities. Support exercise Joint Planning Group meetings and In-Progress Reviews (IPRs) with senior leaders as required. Respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) related to the Joint Training Plan and other related Joint Training Exercise and Evaluation Program (JTEEP) policy and guidance. Produce orders or instructions to facilitate guidance for training and exercise planning. International travel up to 10% of the year may be required to support the planning, coordination, and execution of the
USPACOM JEP.
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree and ten (10)+ years of relevant experience; an additional four (4) years of experience considered in lieu of a degree. Joint Professional Military Education (JPME) Phase I complete; two (2) years of experience on a joint operational/strategic headquarters staff accepted in lieu of JPME Phase I. Direct experience executing the JTEEP and JTS at a Combatant Command. Knowledge of the JELC and associated requirements to plan and execute FTXs and CPXs. Proven experience in an analyst role supporting projects with strict timelines. Experience in training and exercise planning with U.S. Armed Services, including joint assignments at the operational/strategic level and working with Allies and Partner countries. Experience in planning and managing complex tasks under compressed time constraints. Familiarity with national and strategic-level guidance documents (NSS, NDS, NMS) and Combatant Command planning products such as the Theater Campaign Plan, Campaign Order, and associated annexes.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Completion of JPME Phase II. Direct experience executing the JTEEP and JTS at a Combatant Command. Prior experience on a Combatant Command or Component Command staff.
REQUIRED CLEARANCE
Must have an active Secret clearance with ability to obtain a TS/SCI. Must be a current US Citizen.
Target salary range:
$120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
