The Doggy Detail is a boutique grooming salon in Lake Forest, CA providing full-service grooming options in addition to self wash stations for our community. We would love for you to join our team of professional groomers. Get paid well for what you enjoy doing. We are a clean, professional business looking for an experienced groomer with solid customer service skills. Please notify us so we can add you to our team!!

Our work environment includes:

Team environment 1-on-1 grooming appointments Relaxed atmosphere Individual grooming rooms 1-on-1 Grooming a pup from start to finish Pay is commensurate with experience. Includes hourly, commission and Tips!

Responsibilities:

• Groom pets according to specific breed standards and customer preferences
• Bathe, brush, and style pets' fur
• Trim nails and clean ears
• Provide exceptional customer service and address any concerns or questions from pet owners
• Maintain a clean and organized grooming area
• Ensure the safety and well-being of pets during the grooming process

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a pet groomer
• Strong knowledge of different dog breeds and their grooming requirements
• Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments with care and confidence
• Proficient in animal restraint techniques to ensure the safety of both the pet and the groomer
• Familiarity with kennel operations, or general pet care is a plus
• Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing
• Must supply your own grooming tools
• Excellent communication skills to interact with pet owners and understand their grooming preferences If you are passionate about working with animals and have the necessary skills and experience, we would love to hear from you.
