Team environment 1-on-1 grooming appointments Relaxed atmosphere Individual grooming rooms 1-on-1 Grooming a pup from start to finish Pay is commensurate with experience. Includes hourly, commission and Tips!Responsibilities:
- Groom pets according to specific breed standards and customer preferences
- Bathe, brush, and style pets' fur
- Trim nails and clean ears
- Provide exceptional customer service and address any concerns or questions from pet owners
- Maintain a clean and organized grooming area
- Ensure the safety and well-being of pets during the grooming process
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a pet groomer
- Strong knowledge of different dog breeds and their grooming requirements
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments with care and confidence
- Proficient in animal restraint techniques to ensure the safety of both the pet and the groomer
- Familiarity with kennel operations, or general pet care is a plus
- Physical stamina to handle heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing
- Must supply your own grooming tools
