This position offers a rewarding opportunity to work closely with animals and pet owners, ensuring every pet feels loved, safe, and well-cared-for. Duties handle and restrain animals during grooming, bathing, and kennel activities using proper animal handling techniques. Perform pet bathing, brushing, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and coat grooming to meet each pet's specific needs. Maintain cleanliness of grooming stations, kennels, and surrounding areas to ensure a hygienic environment. Support kennel operations by feeding pets, cleaning cages or runs, and ensuring their comfort throughout their stay. Provide excellent customer service by communicating with pet owners about their pets' care and grooming preferences. Prior experience in pet grooming, kennel work, or animal handling is highly desirable. Knowledge of dog training techniques and veterinary procedures is a plus. Experience working with animals such as dogs, cats, or horses demonstrates strong animal handling skills. Familiarity with pet grooming tools, animal restraint methods, and basic pet care practices is preferred. Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary to move supplies or assist with large animals. Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members effectively.
