Blue Creek Equestrian is hiring part-time morning caretakers to join our small barn team. We are looking for 2-3 dependable, experienced people to help cover weekday morning horse care, stall care, watering, and arena maintenance. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in consistent routines, thoughtful horse care, clear communication, and maintaining a calm, clean, high-standard equestrian environment. Schedule

• Monday-Friday mornings
• Approximately 3-4 hours per shift
• Morning feed begins around 7:00 AM or close to sunrise, depending on season
• Applicants do not need to be available every weekday, but must be able to commit to a consistent weekly schedule Primary Duties
• Morning feeding
• Observing horse behavior, appetite, movement, and overall condition
• Turning horses out to assigned pastures
• Cleaning stalls
• Filling waters and helping keep water areas clean
• Stocking hay and feed areas
• General barn upkeep, including aisles and shared spaces
• Noticing and reporting anything abnormal or concerning
• Watering and dragging the indoor arena 2x/week
• Blanketing or other horse-care support as directed We Are Looking For Someone Who Is
• Experienced and confident handling horses
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Calm, kind, and observant
• Detail-oriented and physically capable of barn work
• Comfortable working outside in all weather
• Able to lift 50 lbs
• A clear and timely communicator
• Respectful of established routines, horse-care instructions, and barn standards
• Comfortable working as part of a small, professional team
• Must live within reasonable driving distance of Evergreen, Colorado
• Strong preference for candidates within 30 minutes of Blue Creek Equestrian
• Must be able to reliably arrive for morning chores in winter weather This is a local, part-time position.

Housing is not provided, and applicants must live within reasonable commuting distance of Evergreen, Colorado. Because morning horse care is weather-dependent and time-sensitive, reliable transportation and winter driving comfort are essential. Compensation $20/hour.
