In this energetic role, you will provide exceptional care, exercise, and companionship to a variety of pets, ensuring they feel loved, safe, and happy. Your enthusiasm for animal handling and outdoor activity will help create positive experiences for both pets and their owners. Responsibilities Take dogs on engaging walks, ensuring proper exercise and mental stimulation tailored to each pet's needs Provide reliable pet sitting services, including feeding, administering medication, and overnight in-home care when required Handle animals safely using animal restraint techniques and demonstrate expertise in dog handling and animal behavior recognition Maintain clear communication with pet owners regarding their pets' activities, health status, and any concerns that arise during visits Perform outdoor work such as yard inspections, outdoor play sessions, and ensuring safe environments for pets during outings Skills Strong animal handling skills with experience in dog walking, pet sitting, and animal restraint techniques Knowledge of pet behavior to ensure safe interactions and effective training methods Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for supplies or pet transportation Excellent client communication skills to provide updates and build trust with pet owners Familiarity with outdoor work environments and kennel experience is a plus Compassionate attitude combined with a proactive approach to pet care and customer service This role is perfect for energetic individuals who love working outdoors, enjoy caring for animals of all kinds (including cats) and want to grow their expertise in pet care.
