Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pet Care Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for animals and the ability to provide exceptional care in a safe and nurturing environment. As a Pet Care Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the well-being of pets while engaging with them in a friendly and professional manner. Duties Provide daily care for pets, including feeding, training, and exercising. Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to the appropriate staff. Maintain cleanliness in pet areas, ensuring all kennels and play areas are sanitized and organized. Engage with pet owners to provide updates on their pets' activities and well-being. Handle various breeds of dogs and other animals safely and effectively. Skills Proficient in dog handling techniques and animal care practices. Experience working in a kennel or veterinary environment is preferred. Knowledge of basic animal grooming skills is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary, including moving animals or equipment. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with pet owners and team members.
