Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Pet Groomer, where your passion for animals and talent for pet styling come together to create happy, well-groomed pets and satisfied pet owners. In this energetic role, you will provide professional grooming services, ensure animal comfort and safety, and foster positive relationships with clients. Your expertise will help enhance the health and appearance of a variety of animals, making each grooming session a delightful experience for pets and their owners alike. You will enjoy autonomy in schedule design. Responsibilities Perform pet grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, haircutting, and styling to meet client specifications. Handle animals with care using proper restraint techniques to ensure safety for both pets and staff. Conduct pet nail trimming, ear cleaning, and coat styling while maintaining a gentle and positive environment. Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand grooming preferences and provide advice on pet coat maintenance. Assist in animal handling during grooming procedures, ensuring proper animal restraint and comfort throughout the process. Maintain cleanliness of grooming tools, stations, and work areas to uphold hygiene standards. Support additional pet care activities such as bathing for boarding and daycare clients Requirements Proven experience in pet grooming, including pet coat styling and pet nail trimming. Strong animal handling skills with the ability to work confidently with dogs. Familiarity with animal restraint methods to ensure safe grooming sessions. Excellent communication skills to engage with pet owners professionally and clearly. Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for handling larger animals or equipment. Prior experience in veterinary assistant or veterinary technician roles is a plus. A genuine love for animals combined with a positive attitude and team-oriented mindset. Pay:
$600.00 - $2,000.00 per week
