Objectives of this roleDeliver outstanding customer service to pet owners by executing style requests, communicating clearly and honestly, and bringing a positive attitude to work each dayProvide exemplary cosmetic care for pets, being gentle and patient with anxious and difficult animalsProtect the best interests of our customers and their pets, notifying owners of any concerns, including skin abnormalities, ear infections, ticks, and fleasHelp our organization continue to grow by forming fruitful relationships with customers that result in repeat visitsResponsibilitiesProvide high-quality grooming services tailored to individual pet needs, ensuring every pet owner leaves happy and satisfied with the results.

Be gentle and patient with all pets, including those who are anxious or difficult.

Communicate clearly and professionally with pet owners to understand grooming preferences.

Advise owners on at-home care tips and best practices for their pets.

Ensure safety and cleanliness of all tools and equipment before and after each grooming session, maintaining the highest sanitation standards.

Required skills and qualificationsDemonstrated passion for animalsPrevious experience with pet groomingAbility to work comfortably with animals, including anxious onesAbility to stand for at least two hours and lift animals weighing over 50 poundsWillingness to learn new skills and techniquesWell-developed verbal communication skillsExcellent attention to detailPreferred skills and qualificationsExperience in pet groomingExperience in customer serviceExperience with animals in a professional or volunteer capacityProfessional certification (such as from the National Dog Groomers Association of America)

$30.00
