Responsibilities:

As a dog walker or pet sitter at Wiggle Your Tail Pet Care, you'll:

Animal Safety & Well-being:

Ensure the safety and well-being of all animals in your care.

Commitment:

We are looking for candidates who can commit to working with Wiggle Your Tail Pet Care for a minimum of 6 months.

Travel:

Must be willing and able to travel locally between client homes for up to 75% of scheduled working time.

Professional Representation:

Represent Wiggle Your Tail with professionalism, compassion, and a love for animals.

Exercise & Playtime:

Provide daily exercise and outdoor time for dogs through engaging walks and playtime.

Pet Bonding:

Build strong bonds with pets through attention and affection.

Care Instructions:

Follow detailed care instructions, including feeding, medication, and special requests.

Owner Communication:

Communicate updates on pets' well-being and behavior to owners.

Health Monitoring:

Monitor pets for signs of illness or injury and notify owners or management if needed.

Cleanliness & Organization:

Maintain cleanliness in pet owners' homes during assignments.

Record Keeping:

Keep accurate records of daily activities and observations.

Policy Adherence:

Adhere to company policies on pet care and customer service. A reliable, pet-safe vehicle with insurance and driver's license A smartphone for GPS, communication, and record-keeping (photo, videos) Physical stamina for walks, bending, squatting, and lifting up to 50 pounds/large dogs. Excellent balance and coordination for handling dogs on leash. Flexibility and willingness to work some evenings, weekends, and holidays ( optional overnights sleepovers) Comfortable caring for various species, including cats, dogs, rabbits, and more.
