Key Responsibilities As a Bay Paws Groomer, you are our styling expert and a proactive driver of our grooming department:

Deliver Full-Service Styling:

Perform breed-standard cuts, custom trims, hand-scissoring, de-shedding treatments, and specialty coat maintenance.

Build & Promote Your Book:

Collaborate with management to create exciting monthly spa specials, reach out directly to current/past clients, and recommend re-booking schedules to grow a loyal clientele. Provide 1-on-1

Consultations:

Meet with pet parents to discuss styling goals, coat conditions, and skin care needs before each service.

Prioritize Pet Safety & Comfort:

Utilize low-stress handling techniques to ensure pets of all ages, sizes, and temperaments have a calm, positive experience.

Collaborate Across Departments:

Work closely with our Front Desk Concierge, Boarding, and Daycare teams to coordinate grooming times for resort guests. You possess strong knowledge of breed standards, scissoring techniques, coat types, and low-stress handling. You are proactive and enthusiastic about reaching out to clients, suggesting add-on services, and designing monthly specials. You have excellent communication skills for client consultations and team collaboration. You have the physical stamina to stand, bend, and safely lift/handle animals up to 50 lbs unassisted.
