Responsibilities:

• Provide daily care and support for animals in a professional and compassionate manner
• Perform animal handling, including feeding, watering, and cleaning of enclosures
• Administer medications and treatments as directed.
• Maintain accurate records of animal health and behavior
• Monitor animals for signs of illness or distress and report any concerns to the appropriate staff
• Ensure that all animal areas are clean, safe, and well-maintained
• Provide grooming services for pets, including bathing and brushing

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with animals in a professional setting, such as a veterinary clinic or animal shelter is a plus but not a requirement.
• Familiarity with basic procedures related to animal care
• Ability to handle animals safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other staff members
