Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Provide daily care and support for animals in a professional and compassionate manner
- Perform animal handling, including feeding, watering, and cleaning of enclosures
- Administer medications and treatments as directed.
- Maintain accurate records of animal health and behavior
- Monitor animals for signs of illness or distress and report any concerns to the appropriate staff
- Ensure that all animal areas are clean, safe, and well-maintained
- Provide grooming services for pets, including bathing and brushing
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with animals in a professional setting, such as a veterinary clinic or animal shelter is a plus but not a requirement.
- Familiarity with basic procedures related to animal care
- Ability to handle animals safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other staff members
