Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Dog Kennel Attendant to ensure the health, comfort, and safety of the animals in our care. The ideal candidate will be dependable, caring, and dedicated to maintaining a clean, positive environment for both animals and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean and sanitize animal enclosures, play areas, and facility spaces using approved cleaning products. Provide food, water, and medications to animals according to established schedules and instructions. Monitor animals for signs of illness, stress, or behavioral changes and report observations promptly. Interact with animals respectfully and kindly to encourage socialization and improve adoptability. Follow all safety and sanitation protocols. Perform additional duties as assigned to support the daily operations of the facility.

Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be free of pet allergies.

• Ability to bend, lift, push, and pull up to 45 pounds safely and repeatedly. Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods. Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions. Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
