Job Description

Part Time Position with Potential for Full Valid Driver's License is required
  • Job Summary:
  • We are seeking a dedicated Kennel Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals and possess excellent customer service skills. This role involves providing care and support to animals in our facility.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the daily care of animals including feeding, watering, and exercising
  • Clean and maintain kennels, cages, and animal living areas
  • Monitor animal behavior and report any health or behavioral concerns to the supervisor
  • Provide basic grooming and bathing services for animals
  • Assist with animal restraint when necessary
  • Interact with pet owners and provide excellent customer service
  • Support owner with various tasks as needed
  • Skills:
  • Experience in kennel management or pet care is preferred
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to handle and restrain animals safely and gently
  • Knowledge of basic animal handling techniques
  • Familiarity with dog training or veterinary assistance is a plus
